The work of the New Zealand artist Bill Culbert, who's artworks celebrate the qualities of common things and invite us to pay fresh attention to the world they come from, is this season's inspiration for the new Autumn/Winter 15-16 collection of 22/4_HOMMES_FEMMES.

Especially his impressive installations for the New Zealand Pavilion for the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.

Culbert, who is notable for his use of light in paintings, photography, sculptures, installation works and his use of found and recycled materials has created a beautiful and diverse journey through some very different spaces at a venue that is both spatially and historically rich – the Istituto Santa Maria della Pietà on the Riva degli Schiavoni.
